Nestled between Spain and France, Andorra is the sixth-smallest country in Europe, but it is packed with so many activities to enjoy including shopping! A haven for shoppers, Andorra has over 2000 shops ranging from high-end stores to unique boutiques. Aside from shopping, Andorra is known for its tobacco industry, ski resorts, natural wonders, churches and museums.

Andorra does not have an international airport. You can either fly to Barcelona or Toulouse, where there are international airports, and from there, take a public or private bus, shared taxi or car to Andorra.  Barcelona is about 255 kilometers to Andorra, while Toulouse is about 180 kilometers away. Andorra is actually a principality with the President of France and the Bishop of Urgell sharing the position of prince, and must exercise their authority together. Franch, Spanish, and Portuguese are common languages although, the official language is Catalan. Don’t worry, although English is not commonly spoken, you can get by especially in major tourist areas.

Before you empty your pockets on shopping, you must visit the Tobacco Museum, a very interesting place to visit even if you are not a smoker.
