If you like going to a beautiful religious site, this is for you!
The Mosteiro dos Jerónimos, also known as the Monastery of St. Jerome or the Jerónimos Monastery, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in Lisbon's Belem district. Exemplifying Portugal's Manueline style -- a highly ornate and innovative style of architecture that was named for the king at the time (Manuel I) -- the monastery was built for the Heironymite monks.
Recent travelers were impressed by the beauty of the Jerónimos Monastery, but a few recommend only seeing the free part of the monastery (and not paying extra for the cloisters). A few also suggest you stop by the nearby Pasteis de Belem for some must-try Portuguese tarts. Closed on Mondays, the monastery is free to tour on Sundays; you can also choose to buy a combined ticket at the monastery that includes the Belem Tower and the Palacio de Ajuda.
