Settled in a valley near Arraiolos - a village famous worldwide for its hand made carpets, Arraiolos Pousada is the result of the restoration of a 16th century Monastery, an example of the perfect harmony between the traditional and the modern concepts of Portuguese architecture.
Surrounded by cooling streams, the silence is only interrupted by flocks of sheep passing by. The Pousada has two large cloisters where guests can stroll at leisure and a swimming pool overlooking the valley.
